Holding the Chart with Integrity and Ethically in Astrological Consultations

Astrology is more than interpreting symbols, but also about holding space for another human in moments of uncertainty, vulnerability and change. This eight-week course is a Trauma-Informed approach to astrological consultations designed for astrologers who want to strengthen their counseling skills and deepen their ethical foundation. This course is also for those astrologers who want to learn how to hold chart consultations with greater confidence, presence and integrity. Drawing from a psychotherapeutic humanistic background, client centered approach, trauma-informed principles, traditional and modern astrology, this course explores not just what to say, but how to say it in ways that empower rather than direct the client.

Whether you’re new to consultations or have years of experience, you’ll develop practical skills that help clients feel heard, respected and supported while remaining grounded within the appropriate scope of astrological practice.

What you’ll learn:

Over 8-weeks, we’ll explore: Ethical framework and role clarity, where we will build a trauma-Informed approach to astrological consultations. Throughout the course we will cover understanding the role of the astrologer as facilitator rather than authority, power dynamics, boundaries, ethical communication, professional responsibility, creating emotional safety during the reading and learning to regulate yourself while responding to clients. We will also cover how to approach the chart with humility and curiosity, as well as understanding projection, transference and client dynamics. Lastly, recognizing when your own experiences influence interpretation and developing greater self-awareness as a practitioner.

It is not a psychotherapy training program, does n to provide clinical supervision and does not qualify participants to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Students should always work within their scope of their education, training and applicable laws.
